Description
The new generation of wax crayons made from renewable raw materials have bright colors and high covering properties. Specially developed for natural textiles, not suitable for synthetic fabrics or wool. A slight white haze on the wax crayons, the wax bloom, is a proof of quality and indicates a high proportion of pure beeswax.
Tips on use:
Wash at 40°C and rinse the textiles before painting to remove finish.
Place a sturdy piece of cardboard under the piece of fabric or between the top and bottom.
Soft, ribbed textiles (e.g. T-shirts) need to be stretched a little.
Draw the design with strong lines. It needs to be applied thickly so that the wax can nestle completely around the fibre.
When the design is ready, place absorbent paper under the textile and iron the design from the back (without steam) until no more wax sticks to the paper. Then iron the front without paper.
After 2 days at the earliest, wash the painted textile with a mild detergent – without optical brighteners/bleaching agents at 40 ° C.
