Who we are and how to contact us

We have carefully researched delivery charges and have tried to keep postal charges as low as possible, and to eliminate postal charges completely for all orders over €60 within Ireland. All deliveries will be sent with An Posts regular postal service in Ireland (including Northern Ireland) only.

All orders over €60 will be sent free of charge using An Posts regular postal service or courier where appropriate in Ireland only. Some of the lower priced but bulkier items will incur a small additional charge to reflect the higher postage charges for these items.

Orders are typically dispatched within one working day of purchase. Customers have the option of delivery either through An Post regular postal service or by courier depending on the choice made during purchase.

A Post delivery within Ireland is typically next day but can sometimes on rare occasions take up to 5 working days. Great Britain generally takes 3-5 working days from dispatch but may on rare occasions take longer. If you do not receive your delivery in Ireland within 7 days of placing your order please contact us.

International deliveries may take 8-10 working days. If you have not received your delivery within 14 working days of placing your order please do contact us. At the moment Covid continues to impact on delivery times especially international deliveries.

A record of postage is kept for all deliveries, Irish items are sent standard untracked post unless you request and pay the balance for tracked options.

Delivery and handling charges for An Post to the rest of Europe: Deliveries to Europe must be sent tracked, you will be contacted after your order is placed and advised of the additional cost of this required tracking if it exceeds the amount of postage already paid.

  • €21 – €50.99 = €20.00
  • €51 – €75.99 = €25.00
  • €76 – €90.99 = €30.00
  • €91 – €149.99 = €35.00

USA and rest of the World

Delivery and handling charges to the USA and rest of the World: Deliveries to USA and rest of the world must be sent tracked, you will be contacted after your order is placed and advised of the additional cost of this required tracking.

  • €1 – €20.99 = €17.00
  • €21 – €50.99 = €22.00
  • €51 – €75.99 = €27.00
  • €76 – €90.99 = €30.00
  • €91 + = €40

Please note for bulky/heavy overseas deliveries additional charges may apply however we will contact you to discuss prior to dispatch.

Courier Delivery:

Please note courier delivery is only available within Ireland (including Northern Ireland). For customers who make a purchase on a working day and opt for courier delivery, we will try to have the courier pick up the order on the same day from us but this is sometimes not always possible depending on timing of order and location of courier. Our courier can collect any time after 10.00am. If courier collection has already happened on the day your order was placed it will be collected the next working day. Typically you can expect delivery one working day after collection by courier. The cost for courier delivery is €10.00. If you are an international customer interested in a courier option please do contact us in advance for a quote.

Please Note:

We always try our best to meet these timings, however as the courier service and postal service  are third party, not directly controlled by us there may be delays that were outside of our control. We do not offer any compensation for delayed deliveries.

For courier orders, please ensure that you will be at the delivery address to sign for your purchase. It is a good idea to give a work address if you will not be at home during the day. Please always provide us with an up to date eircode, mobile number and email so that the courier can contact you if needed and update you on your delivery.

For UK, Europe and Rest of World deliveries we use the regular postal delivery with An Post or may send via courier if it is more cost effective. HipBaby is not liable for any import duty for international orders.

For Europe and Rest of World deliveries all items must be sent with a tracked service, you will be contacted after your order is placed with the cost of this tracked dispatch. We know this will cause additional delay but due to the high volume of items being lost and the costs that we are incurring with refunding or resending items this must be done.

Ordering:

All orders received through our web site will receive a confirmation of order. This will normally be sent by email. Please note that due that as a security measure we may contact customers for additional payment details.

For Overseas orders where possible please pay via PayPal. If paying by credit card we may contact you for further information. Unfortunately this is as a result of fraudulent transactions from overseas addresses.

Returns:

At HipBaby we only want satisfied customers, if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase we will gladly refund you in full (excluding postal charges) or if requested offer a replacement. Please contact us in advance of all returns.

Under the European Directive on Consumer Rights (Directive 2011/83/EU), the European Communities (Protection of Consumers in Respect of Contracts made by means of Distance Communication) Regulations 2001 as amended and the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013 you have the right to return any items purchased online provided that:

  1. It is within 14 days of delivery receipt.
  2. The goods are in perfect condition and have not been assembled.
  3. The goods are in their original packaging and fit for resale.
  4. A pickup and restocking fee of 15% of the items sell value will apply for Spectra breast pump returns, unless the item is faulty. This will cover the pickup of your pump and internal administrative costs.
  5. In the interest of safety and hygiene briefs/boxers shorts, swimwear, silver breast angels, pumpin pals,breast pumps and their accessories cannot be returned once the packaging has been opened or damaged unless faulty. And products containing a security seal can only be returned if that seal has not been tampered with and/or unsealed unless faulty.

This Returns Policy is in accordance with the European Directive on Consumer Rights (Directive 2011/83/EU), the European Communities (Protection of Consumers in Respect of Contracts made by means of Distance Communication) Regulations 2001 as amended and the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013.

We suggest that you use recorded delivery for returns as we cannot be held responsible for the non-arrival of returned goods.

HipBaby will accept all postal costs relating to faulty goods.

Where goods are exchanged, a postal charge will apply at the buyer’s expense.

Where free shipping applied to an order that is being returned the shipping charge incurred by HipBaby will be taken out of the refund.

Refunds:

To process the refund we will need a receipt or proof of purchase.

Once your returned items are received and inspected, we will endeavour to process your refund as soon as possible. This can take up to 14 working days depending on your original method of payment..
